Role Overview

The Senior Specialist in Procurement Compliance Audit at Qiddiya Investment Company is essential in verifying that procurement practices comply with both internal policies and external regulatory mandates. This role requires conducting thorough audits of procurement procedures, pinpointing potential compliance risks, and aiding in the implementation of corrective measures. It also contributes to enhancing procurement oversight and fosters a culture rooted in transparency and accountability within the procurement department.

Primary Duties

  • Organize and carry out in-depth audits on procurement operations to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory directives, and contract terms.
  • Detect procedural weaknesses and risks within procurement activities, collaborating with relevant parties to formulate corrective strategies.
  • Precisely document audit results and communicate findings to pertinent teams effectively.
  • Perform risk assessments related to procurement functions and propose appropriate risk mitigation controls.
  • Keep track of compliance patterns and identify emerging risks in procurement processes.
  • Contribute to updating procurement compliance guidelines to reflect regulatory changes.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions to raise staff awareness concerning compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and audit teams to uphold compliance objectives.
  • Interface with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit procedures and address inquiries.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in procurement compliance, auditing, or related areas, ideally in large-scale projects or organizations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CIA, or equivalents are desirable.
  • Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for diverse collaborative settings.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks and commercial contexts is preferred.
