About the Role
Nestlé USA is looking for a Senior Specialist, Customer Account to support the Dollar/Value channel within the Coffee & Beverage business. This position focuses on direct sales work for Dollar Tree and Sav-A-Lot while supporting the Customer Account Manager across sales execution. The role sits in a fast-moving retail category and is designed for someone who can combine commercial thinking, customer focus, and analytical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
- Support category expansion and help deliver annual sales and commercial spending goals.
- Create category-led business plans, including new item proposals, 4P-based initiatives, and customer-facing presentations.
- Assist with business planning activities such as distribution monitoring, promotion tracking, forecasting, and deduction handling when needed.
- Review category reporting to spot trends, surface opportunities, and recommend actions based on the findings.
- Work with CMI to turn shopper insights into practical actions.
- Collaborate with the Data and Reporting team to convert 4Ps analytics into business decisions.
- Manage trade and commercial spend carefully to support volume and spend targets, including tracking, follow-up, and record maintenance.
- Provide timely communication on customer updates, category changes, and forecast information.
- Build tailored category selling stories for Dollar/Value accounts covering assortment, innovation, pricing, promotions, and display or merchandising plans.
- Strengthen selling effectiveness by using better analytics, stronger insights, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in career development programs in a timely and professional manner.
- Take ownership of personal development through capability-building tools.
- Develop key behaviors through a structured personal development planning process.
- Serve as a peer coach and support training for analysts.
- Maintain strong coordination with Commercial Development, Retail Marketing, and Supply Chain partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of account management experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Confident presentation and communication ability.
- Experience leading or owning projects in prior roles or teams.
- Proven success in meeting KPI targets.
- Solid understanding of sales fundamentals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound judgment, good problem-solving ability, strategic thinking, and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to take initiative and execute work with limited supervision.
- Willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements that raise performance beyond the role itself.
- Ability to act quickly to resolve issues and keep stakeholders informed about potential impact.
- Persistence and willingness to put in extra effort when required to reach goals and maintain productivity.
- Proactive approach to spotting opportunities beyond standard job expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual base pay for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. Final compensation may vary depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
