Senior Solutions Architect – AI Platforms/LLMs/Cloud & Enterprise AI

Role overview

This opportunity is with a fast-expanding European deep-tech company known for work in AI and quantum technologies. The business is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect to support growth in Qatar, with a focus on helping enterprises implement advanced AI platforms and large language model solutions more efficiently and at lower infrastructure cost without sacrificing performance.

The role sits at the intersection of AI architecture, cloud environments, and client engagement. You will work with enterprise customers across multiple sectors to shape, design, and deliver scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable technical point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams during pre-sales discussions.
• Create scalable AI and machine learning solution designs that match client needs and wider business goals.
• Run discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and customer-facing demos.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution blueprints, statements of work, and responses for RFPs and tenders.
• Plan deployment approaches for public cloud, sovereign cloud, hybrid, and on-premise setups.

Key requirements

• Background in a customer-facing technical position such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Implementation Consultant, or Pre-Sales Architect.
• Solid experience in building enterprise solutions for AI, machine learning, cloud, or data platforms.
• Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to draft technical proposals, handle tender responses, and present products independently.
• Hands-on knowledge of Large Language Models and Generative AI use cases.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
• Exposure to multi-agent AI systems and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with computer vision, speech AI, vision-language models, and multimodal AI solutions.
• Knowledge of AI model optimisation techniques including compression, quantisation, and deployment at the edge.
