Senior Shipping and Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to manage comprehensive procurement and shipping functions in line with company policies. This role involves coordination across international logistics channels to ensure shipments are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete procurement processes adhering to established procurement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate international customer service and multi-modal shipments via sea, air, and land transport.
• Supervise import/export operations, customs compliance, freight oversight, and maintain coordination across internal teams and external partners.
• Track shipment progress, address logistics challenges, and communicate updates promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to supply chain advancements through process standardisation, digital initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a diploma or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
• Demonstrate relevant experience in international shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• Prior exposure to semiconductor, engineering, EPC, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors is considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with global trade regulations, Incoterms®, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Experience managing regional or international shipments.
• Strong skills in communication, coordination, and negotiation.
• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks under stringent deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.
