About The Role

Focus Digital is seeking a skilled Senior Content Writer with a strong background in SEO to join our team. This position involves creating engaging and search-optimized content for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will deliver top-quality content that enhances organic search visibility and effectively supports client goals.

Responsibilities

• Produce, edit, and refine various content types including blog posts, articles, and website copy for multiple concurrent clients.
• Implement SEO best practices such as keyword integration, on-page optimization, crafting meta descriptions, and internal link building.
• Conduct comprehensive research to ensure content accuracy and relevance tailored to specific audiences.
• Adjust tone and style to align with different brand voices and industry standards.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to align content with strategic objectives and briefs.
• Use AI technologies to enhance the content creation process while maintaining originality and high quality.
• Efficiently handle multiple projects and meet all deadlines consistently.
• Incorporate and manage editorial feedback professionally for client and team revisions.
• Work collaboratively with strategists and project managers on content planning and account strategies.
• Offer recommendations to improve and expand content offerings.
• Report regularly to the managing editor on content performance, project status, and team requirements.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of professional content writing experience, particularly handling multiple clients simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of SEO concepts including keyword research and on-page content structuring.
• Versatile research and writing skills covering various topics and industries.
• Proven ability to adapt and improve content based on editorial feedback.
• Excellent command of grammar, clarity, and storytelling techniques.
• Familiarity with project management tools, preferably Asana.
• Experience integrating AI tools as part of the writing workflow.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and detail orientation.
• Professional communication skills suitable for client interactions.
• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in content marketing or work within agency environments.
• Experience using SEO analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
• Exposure to writing for diverse industries and market verticals.
