Overview

This role, based in Ireland and offered through a partner company, seeks an experienced Senior SEO Content Strategist to lead and enhance organic growth for a burgeoning fintech and cryptocurrency platform. The position involves directing comprehensive SEO, content strategies, and digital PR efforts to improve visibility, attract the right audience, and boost organic lead conversions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a holistic organic growth plan encompassing keyword research, competitive benchmarking, SEO roadmap creation, and setting performance goals.
• Enhance technical SEO aspects such as website structure, crawl efficiency, page loading speed, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and general search engine metrics.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to integrate SEO needs into product launches and technical updates.
• Utilize SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to generate insights and uncover opportunities.
• Develop and refine content strategies across various formats like blogs, landing pages, and educational materials focused on SEO optimization.
• Author and polish content that clarifies complex fintech and cryptocurrency subjects while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Conduct audits of existing content to enhance, consolidate, and improve its impact and search performance.
• Lead digital public relations campaigns through research-driven projects, industry analyses, and link-building approaches.
• Manage outreach efforts using platforms such as HARO and Qwoted to secure authoritative media coverage.
• Track backlink profiles, domain authority, referring domains, and media coverage effects to continuously refine SEO tactics.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure organic growth strategies align with broader marketing and business goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably within fintech, cryptocurrency, financial services, or regulated sectors.
• Demonstrated success in boosting organic traffic, enhancing search rankings, and increasing conversions through SEO initiatives.
• Strong expertise in technical SEO including understanding search algorithms, website architecture, speed optimization, schema, and Core Web Vitals.
• Proven ability to independently execute SEO enhancements and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Exceptional skills in writing and editing complex financial and technological content with high publication standards.
• Practical experience in digital PR, link-building, and gaining media coverage from reputable sources.
• Familiarity with SEO and analytic platforms like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and CMS systems like WordPress or Drupal.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to implement technical website adjustments as needed.
• Strong analytical competence to convert data into strategic guidance and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent team collaboration skills with experience coordinating across product, compliance, design, marketing, and communication divisions.
• Additional assets include knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech niches, local SEO, or data visualization tools.
