Job description

About Laurel

Laurel is an AI-powered time platform built for professional services firms. The company helps organizations automatically capture work time, analyze it, and connect time data to business outcomes so they can improve profitability, strengthen client delivery, and make more informed strategic decisions. Laurel works with major accounting and law firms and processes more than 1 billion work activities every year.

The team brings together experienced people in AI, product, and engineering who are focused on changing how knowledge work gets done. Laurel’s goal is to help professionals create more value in less time while building a company that is thoughtful, innovative, and long-lasting.

Role overview

This position owns go-to-market hiring across the revenue organization, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, SDRs, Solutions Engineers, and sales leadership. You will partner closely with the VP of Sales and CRO to create a disciplined hiring process that brings in a strong revenue team to support current and future goals.

This is a foundational role within a talent function that is being created from the ground up. The person hired will help define what excellent GTM recruiting looks like at Laurel and take full ownership of it.

Key responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruiting for GTM roles such as AEs, CSMs, SDRs, Solutions Engineers, and sales leaders.
  • Manage roughly 10 to 15 open requisitions at a time and maintain a baseline output of 6 to 10 hires per quarter.
  • Lead outbound sourcing and proactively find strong enterprise SaaS sales talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-performing GTM professionals before they begin actively searching.
  • Partner with sales and customer success leaders on intake, structured evaluation, and hiring calibration.
  • Help close candidates by clearly presenting the equity story, growth opportunity, and mission.
  • Support hiring across multiple locations, including New York, San Francisco, London, and Los Angeles.

Required experience and skills

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle GTM recruiting experience in a high-growth enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of what top enterprise Account Executives look like, including the ability to assess them accurately.
  • Background hiring across the GTM stack, including AEs, CSMs, Solutions Engineers, and sales leadership.
  • Well-developed outbound sourcing ability and an active network in enterprise SaaS.
  • Comfort leading structured interviews, calibration sessions, and hiring manager coaching.
  • Proven success closing candidates who had competing offers.

Preferred background

  • Experience recruiting for companies that sell into law firms, financial services, or fast-growing SaaS businesses.
  • Understanding of the differences between SDR-to-AE hiring and enterprise direct or partner-led motions.
  • Clear point of view on compensation design, equity messaging, and competing against public-company offers.
  • Experience hiring GTM talent across several geographies at the same time.
  • Previous success improving or rebuilding a weak GTM hiring process rather than only filling openings.

How the team works

Laurel works with an AI-first mindset, using automation for outreach personalization and pipeline review before adding headcount. The company values exceptional candidate experience as part of the employer brand, and aims to make finalists feel genuinely seen. Decisions are expected to be data-led, with attention to pipeline health, source quality, time-to-offer, and offer acceptance rates. The company also emphasizes clear growth paths and mutual investment in development.

Why join Laurel

  • The company has raised significant funding from top venture investors and well-known individuals.
  • You will join a smart, collaborative, inclusive, and enjoyable team.
  • Employee benefits include equity and a 401(k) plan.
  • The company hosts in-person off-sites twice a year in distinctive locations.
  • You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the business while growing your career.

Additional information

Laurel values curiosity, rigor, and people who are willing to question the status quo. The company is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.

Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this role. Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not match every requirement exactly, as the company values diverse perspectives and an inclusive workplace.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $185,000.
