Role Summary
The position is for a Senior Sales Manager based in Riyadh, tasked with expanding enterprise sales within Saudi Arabia. This strategic sales leadership role entails end-to-end ownership of complex deals with major financial organizations, including banks and fintech companies. Success requires engagement with executives at all levels—from C-suite to risk and compliance leaders—to win new business and deepen existing client partnerships. The role includes mentoring junior team members and influencing regional commercial strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate new enterprise client acquisitions across banks, fintechs, and regulated firms throughout Saudi Arabia.
- Formulate and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth in existing contracts.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior executives to facilitate complex decision-making.
- Identify and qualify sizable sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
- Lead contract negotiations and structure agreements for software and service deliveries.
- Coordinate responses to RFI, RFP, and tenders with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver executive presentations, product demos, and persuasive sales engagements.
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth client onboarding and sustained satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline health, and CRM records.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Represent the company at industry forums, networking events, and customer meetings.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory shifts within payments and compliance sectors.
- Coach and guide junior sales personnel while contributing to regional business growth.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance, security measures, and confidentiality protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
- Minimum seven years' proven success in enterprise software sales, preferably in fintech, payments, AML, financial crime prevention, or risk management domains.
- Consistent track record of surpassing quotas in strategic or enterprise sales environments.
- Experience selling complex SaaS or enterprise software solutions to financial institutions.
- Strong familiarity with payments, compliance, AML, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, and regulatory technologies.
- Adept at engaging senior executives and decision-makers in banking and financial sectors.
- Experience managing extensive, consultative sales cycles.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with technical pre-sales and consulting teams.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Financial crime certifications (e.g., CAMS) are beneficial but not obligatory.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
