About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales and Application Executive to drive sales of rotary tables, indexers, and related machine tool accessories. The role involves targeting industries such as CNC machine tools, automation, aerospace, defence, automotive, and precision engineering. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new customers, generating inquiries, preparing quotations, and achieving set sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted industries.
- Promote and sell rotary tables and associated machine tool components.
- Generate and follow up on enquiries to close orders successfully.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with OEMs, dealers, and end users.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and practical product demonstrations.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer demands.
- Assess customer machining applications to recommend suitable rotary table products.
- Select rotary table models considering load capacity, accuracy, torque, and machine compatibility.
- Provide support for CNC controller integration, including Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Heidenheim systems.
- Assist customers with layout planning, interface requirements, and installation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for custom and special application solutions.
- Support commissioning and resolve technical issues as required.
Technical Support Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.
- Prepare application notes, technical proposals, and customer-facing presentations.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and customer support with production and service departments.
- Support company participation in industry exhibitions, machine tool fairs, and customer training events.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering desirable; MBA in Marketing or Business Development advantageous.
- Understanding of CNC machining processes and machine tools.
- Knowledge of rotary tables, indexing systems, and clamping mechanisms.
- Familiarity with major CNC controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and technical discussions.
Preferred Industry Background
- Experience in CNC machine tool manufacturing.
- Background with rotary table production.
- Exposure to industrial automation sectors.
- Familiarity with aerospace and defence manufacturing.
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing.
