Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Senior Researcher focusing on Computer Architecture Modeling and Simulation, you will engage in planning, researching, and implementing technologies related to computer architecture modeling, simulation, and optimization. Your responsibilities include designing and developing platforms that support generative recommendation system modeling and new computer architecture simulations aimed at enhancing workload-architecture co-design.

• Provide insight into emerging trends in computer architecture modeling, simulation, and system architecture optimization to aid in strategic technology planning.
• Develop efficient modeling and simulation platforms, incorporating key technologies like generative recommendation system modeling, dynamic AI workload modeling, and novel computer architecture simulation.
• Create simulation platforms to facilitate generative recommendation systems that utilize memory pooling architecture, PD separation deployment, and Ascend affinity model design, promoting effective collaboration between hardware and software.
• Identify opportunities and lead collaborative projects with technical leaders from leading Singaporean universities to foster technical innovation.

Qualifications

• Possess a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Have a firm grasp of modern computer architectures, including CPUs and GPUs, as well as memory hierarchy, with knowledge of distributed computing design principles and emerging architectures. Capable of hardware-software co-design and optimization at the system level.
• Experienced with AI workload models such as recommendation systems, large language models (LLMs), and vision-language models (VLMs), including a track record in performance acceleration and optimization.
• Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of leading cross-functional teams and projects.
