Job description
About the Role
Taktile is scaling quickly and helps financial institutions become AI-native. The company works with enterprise clients across banking and insurance, and this role is meant to be the primary recruiting contact for future hires. As Senior Recruiter, you will own sourcing, hiring, and the end-to-end candidate experience, playing a direct part in how the organization grows and scales.
The position is suited to someone who wants to help shape the team at a fast-moving AI company. Taktile is looking for a recruiter who can spot strong talent, attract candidates effectively, and thrive in a competitive market.
This is an on-site role based in New York City. The team works together in person at least three days each week because recruiting is seen as a collaborative, relationship-led function.
What You Will Do
- Manage the complete recruitment process for a group of GTM positions, beginning with role definition and ending with offer acceptance, while keeping speed and candidate quality in balance.
- Create sourcing plans for each search, using LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled tools, and tailored outreach to connect with both active and passive candidates.
- Work closely with hiring managers as a strategic advisor, helping shape role expectations, questioning assumptions, and maintaining momentum when priorities change.
- Deliver a strong candidate journey through consistent communication, fast feedback, and a hiring process that reflects Taktile’s values.
- Use hiring data to guide decisions, monitor pipeline progress, spot drop-off points, and provide actionable funnel updates.
- Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs, design recruiting plans, and support headcount goals as a senior talent advisor.
- Improve how the company hires by refining assessment frameworks, strengthening structured interviews, and introducing ideas that keep Taktile competitive in a tight talent market.
- Support employer branding and talent marketing through events, content, and community engagement so more candidates recognize and want to join Taktile.
- Coordinate with People Operations on post-offer handoffs, including onboarding, relocation support, and visa assistance where required.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of practical experience in proactive sourcing and talent acquisition, ideally in high-growth startups or similarly fast-paced environments.
- Strong background hiring for GTM roles, including Account Executives, BDRs, Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Marketing roles.
- Experience advising leaders throughout the hiring process and serving as a trusted recruiting partner.
- Regular use of AI tools in recruiting workflows, such as sourcing, personalized outreach, candidate research, or pipeline management, along with an informed view of modern recruiting technology.
- Comfort using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and Google Workspace to run efficient hiring processes for active and passive candidates.
- Ability to source candidates across multiple seniority levels, from recent graduates to experienced senior professionals.
- Strong interviewing skills, especially in behavioral and competency-based interviews, with the ability to assess skills, culture add, and growth potential.
- Experience handling both high-volume hiring and targeted searches for specialized roles.
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and source effectiveness, and the ability to use data to improve hiring outcomes.
Ideal Background
- Previous recruiting experience in B2B SaaS.
- Familiarity with Ashby.
What Taktile Offers
- The chance to make a visible impact by helping shape a fast-growing company and opening new opportunities.
- A competitive salary plus equity, with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
- A benefits package aligned to the market, including a self-development budget for conferences, books, or classes.
- The opportunity to work onsite from inspiring offices in Berlin, New York City, or London.
- A flat organizational structure with direct access to founding team members and room to share ideas openly.
- Exposure to experienced mentors, including leaders with backgrounds at Looker, GitHub, Mulesoft, Datadog, and UiPath.
- The chance to take ownership during an early but important growth stage and contribute to strong business outcomes.
Our Hiring Stance
- Taktile welcomes strong candidates even if they do not meet every requirement, and values people who add to the culture rather than simply match it.
- The company actively works to recognize and oppose racism, sexism, ableism, and ageism, and it supports all gender identities and expressions as well as love in all its forms.
- Candidates will not be asked about identity or discrimination history, though they are welcome to share personal experiences if they choose.
