Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance and Enhancement Office at Maynooth University supervises and improves processes related to teaching, learning, research, and service quality across the institution. This office supports various university units in developing and implementing quality assurance practices and manages quality review activities.
The Senior Quality Officer will support the Director of Quality in fulfilling the office’s mandate. This includes collaboration with external bodies like Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), engagement with the University's Quality Committee, and coordination with other university departments. The role focuses on developing policies and refining processes concerning quality assurance and enhancement, adapting to evolving external requirements.
The ideal candidate is expected to be proactive, meticulous in attention to detail, and skilled at juggling multiple priorities effectively.
