Role summary

Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate is seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer to support the Quality Manager in delivering project IMS objectives. In this role, you will help establish and oversee project quality management systems, ensure that project teams are trained on IMS requirements, carry out client-requested inspections, and make sure work is aligned with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The position also calls for a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance with internal policies.

What you will do

• Get fully acquainted with all quality assurance expectations for the project.
• Support the Project Manager or Project Director in executing the Project Management Plan.
• Work with the project team to create and apply inspection and test plans, checklists, and method statements.
• Review and keep all material testing records up to date.
• Organize and implement inspection planning and scheduling.
• Train project personnel on the Project Management Plan, inspection and test plans, and method statements.
• Assist with project audits.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan for assigned projects.
• Induct project staff on the Project Management Plan, inspections, test plans, and method statements.
• Ensure all safety, quality, and environmental procedures and controls are followed.
• Support safe delivery, service quality, and environmental compliance within AFC.
• Identify and contribute to process and practice improvements that benefit Al-Futtaim and its employees.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Strong grasp of project management planning and implementation.
• Solid understanding of a complex functional or business area.
• Good commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to train and encourage project teams effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Membership in a professional body with at least an intermediate-level qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA function.
• Proven success in supporting major contracts, business units, or regions.
