About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager or Project Manager to lead premium commercial fit-out projects based in Sydney CBD and Greater Sydney. This role involves managing high-spec corporate office renovations, banking and financial institution rollouts, as well as upscale retail and hospitality refurbishments. You will be part of a fast-growing, privately owned specialist builder known for precision, zero-defect delivery in live environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through to final handover of complex commercial fit-out programs.
- Oversight of multi-site financial rollouts and high-value single-floor refurbishments, ensuring flawless execution and compliance.
- Control procurement, program schedules, and budgets autonomously as if running your own business.
- Handle subcontractor coordination and maintain elite quality control standards with zero defects.
- Navigate the challenges of working in live sites, managing logistical complexities with minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organized individual with a mindset focused on excellence and efficiency, prioritizing "Done Once, Done Right" under tight deadlines.
- 5 to 12+ years experience executing commercial office fit-outs, premium retail or institutional refurbishments in Australia.
- Strong technical knowledge of Building Code of Australia (BCA), Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) compliance, and live-site operational planning.
- Possess financial savvy including budget management and subcontractor negotiations, consistently delivering profitable projects.
