Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee key remediation projects from initial estimation through to successful delivery and financial closure. This leadership role requires driving process improvements, ensuring quality compliance, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage entire lifecycle of concrete repair and remediation projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.
- Advocate for and utilize internal management tools (Formitise) while supporting company efforts for ISO standards adoption and maintenance.
- Maintain strict financial oversight including budget control, handling variations, and progress claim management.
- Lead onsite teams and subcontractors, promoting safety awareness and ownership.
- Serve as the main contact for clients, engineers, and consultants ensuring effective communication and resolution of disputes.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably focused on concrete repair, waterproofing, or structural remediation.
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand construction contracts (NZS) and health and safety legislation.
- Advanced proficiency with project management software; familiarity with Formitise is highly beneficial.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven to support the company’s ISO compliance objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for executive-level reporting.
