Overview
Teckhorizon Inc is looking for a skilled Senior Program Manager to oversee expansive, multi-year IT programs involving several business units, delivery groups, and vendor partners. This position demands strategic leadership and complete ownership of program delivery, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, architectural standards, and priorities.
Key Duties
- Lead enterprise-wide IT programs from initial planning through to successful execution and closure.
- Create comprehensive program roadmaps including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations aligned to business targets.
- Define and maintain governance structures while communicating program status to senior leadership.
- Handle scope, risk, issue tracking, dependency management, and change controls for the program.
- Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams, vendors, and third parties to achieve program objectives.
- Monitor and manage financial aspects such as budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and vendor performance assessment.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, IT policies, and quality assurance procedures.
- Guide project managers and delivery teams, fostering teamwork and continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years managing large, complex IT programs or technology projects.
- Demonstrable leadership of cross-functional, multi-stakeholder enterprise programs.
- Expertise in various delivery frameworks including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methods.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, integration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
- Strong competencies in program governance, financial management, risk mitigation, and resource planning.
- Experience in vendor management and contract oversight.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, leadership, communication, and negotiation.
Preferred Certifications and Experience
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PROSCI, ITIL, or Agile (CSM, SAFe).
- Background in digital transformation or enterprise modernization projects.
- Experience within public sector or transportation industries.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in large, complex organizational settings.
