Role overview
Teckhorizon Inc is supporting a client in search of a Senior Business Analyst to contribute to the Funding Management System (FMS) initiative across the Agency Regions and Sector Capacity and Performance (SCP) portfolios. This work sits within Ontario Health’s Enterprise CRM Roadmap and centers on the Salesforce CRM Grants Module.
The position involves close coordination with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and an implementation partner to capture requirements, sharpen user stories, enable Agile delivery, and help deliver the solution successfully.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead Business Analyst for the Agency Regions and SCP business teams.
- Collect, assess, record, and confirm requirements for the Funding Management System.
- Convert business needs into clear requirements and well-defined user stories.
- Work alongside the Salesforce implementation vendor during the full delivery cycle.
- Help refine the backlog and prepare for sprint planning sessions.
- Take part in sprint reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
- Support UAT activities, including developing business test scenarios and cases.
- Build business process maps and supporting documentation.
- Check that vendor-delivered solutions match the documented business needs.
- Assist with future improvements to the Funding Management System.
- Help advance the Agency’s enterprise CRM roadmap.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or an equivalent mix of education and work experience.
- At least 5 years of Business Analyst experience delivering Salesforce CRM solutions.
- At least 5 years of practical experience with Salesforce PSS Grantmaking or a comparable Salesforce cloud offering such as Public Sector Solutions, Nonprofit Cloud, Health Cloud, or Sales Cloud.
- At least 3 years of experience building Salesforce CRM solutions in a public sector environment.
- At least 3 years working on Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.
- At least 5 years in Agile Scrum delivery settings.
- At least 5 years using Microsoft Azure DevOps for user stories, backlog tracking, and requirements documentation.
- Strong capability in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.
- Experience writing user stories, mapping business processes, and supporting UAT.
- Good working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, stakeholder handling, and communication skills.
Preferred experience
- Background in the healthcare sector.
- Exposure to public sector funding management, transfer payment administration, or similar funding systems.
- Understanding of Ontario public sector business processes and enterprise business analysis methods.
- PMI-PBA certification.
- IIBA CCBA certification.
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification.
- Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant certification.
- CPA designation or equivalent experience in financial or funding-related work.
- Experience supporting enterprise CRM transformation or digital modernization programs.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
