Job description
Role overview
This is a remote U.S. opportunity for someone who can operate as a strategic partner to the Chief Operating Officer, rather than a conventional project manager. The position sits at the center of a healthcare technology business that supports a large volume of essential healthcare transactions each month and serves providers, payers, and other partners across North America.
As the organization expands its investment in AI, process excellence, and modernization of its technology stack, this role will help keep high-priority work moving across the business. The focus is on execution, cross-functional coordination, accountability, and operational improvement.
What the role involves
You will work directly with the COO to advance the company’s most important strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across teams and functions. The role brings together strategy, execution, and operating discipline.
- Work with the COO on company-wide strategic priorities.
- Move cross-functional initiatives from early planning through delivery.
- Design and maintain operating cadences, governance routines, reporting structures, and executive visibility across multiple teams.
- Spot risks, clear blockers, and help initiatives stay on track.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and operating metrics that support better decisions.
- Bring together teams across Support, Enterprise Implementations, Data & Analytics, Product, Engineering, and Business Operations.
- Manage complex programs with many stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strengthen organizational effectiveness by simplifying workflows and improving accountability.
- Prepare executive communications, business review materials, status updates, and strategic presentations.
- Partner with leadership on AI-enabled improvements to operations and workflows.
What success looks like
The right person will think like an operator and enjoy making complex organizations run more smoothly. This is a role for someone who is energized by structure, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Relevant backgrounds often include Chief of Staff, strategic program management, business operations, PMO leadership, enterprise transformation, technical program management, operations consulting, or healthcare technology operations.
Preferred background
- Direct experience working with executive leaders such as a COO, CIO, CTO, VP, or similar.
- Exposure to healthcare technology, healthtech, payer, provider, or healthcare SaaS environments.
- Experience supporting teams in Customer Support, Implementations, Product, Engineering, or Data.
- Comfort building governance models, operating rhythms, reporting processes, and other organizational systems.
- Track record of leading large initiatives that span multiple departments.
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and stakeholder management ability.
- Experience improving efficiency through process redesign, automation, AI, or broader technology transformation.
Why this opportunity stands out
This position is designed for someone who wants to influence how an entire organization operates, not just manage a project list. You will work closely with an executive team that values ownership, curiosity, operational discipline, and improvement, while helping shape how a leading healthcare technology company scales going forward.

This is a full-time remote role based in the United States. The posting does not specify compensation, application deadline, or number of openings.
