About the Role

This position is with a partner company seeking an accomplished Senior Product Strategy Director based in the United States. The role is integral in defining and steering the product strategy, positioning, and go-to-market synchronization for an enterprise-grade financial analytics software solution.

The Senior Product Strategy Director acts as a key liaison among Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, translating complex technical features into compelling business outcomes to enhance adoption and commercial impact. This position focuses on strategic communication rather than operational product management.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and continuously refine product positioning, value propositions, and strategic messaging for enterprise financial analytics offerings.
  • Convert product roadmaps, technical capabilities, and investment themes into clear, customer-centric messages and communications for executives.
  • Create scalable field enablement content such as presentations, briefs, FAQs, and materials to boost sales effectiveness.
  • Serve as a strategic intermediary connecting Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success groups.
  • Identify misalignments among product development, positioning, packaging, and market expectations, guiding efforts toward resolution.
  • Lead executive discussions, strategic forums, and decision-making by providing informed insights and recommendations.
  • Manage internal communication of product roadmaps, ensuring go-to-market teams are equipped with knowledge about upcoming releases and strategic shifts.
  • Collaborate on launch strategy, commercialization, messaging updates, and readiness activities.
  • Develop compelling executive and customer narratives that articulate product strategy, business value, and market potential.
  • Establish feedback channels with sales, customers, partners, and market participants to gather insights influencing product decisions.
  • Analyze competitive feedback, adoption patterns, and customer signals to refine messaging and enablement tactics.
  • Promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing to optimize execution and business results.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 10 years’ experience in enterprise SaaS, analytics, financial technology, performance management, or related platform domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or comparable professional experience.
  • Expertise in Product Strategy, Product Operations, Go-to-Market Strategy, or related leadership roles adjacent to product management.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise analytics, financial data ecosystems, performance management workflows, or EPM/CPM platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical and data-intensive concepts into clear business value propositions.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build consensus without direct authority.
  • Proven track record representing product strategy in customer engagements, partner discussions, and industry events.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including crafting executive presentations and strategic storytelling.
  • Familiarity with agile product development and engineering processes.
  • Capability to manage multiple strategic priorities with exceptional attention to detail and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude, able to navigate ambiguity and evolving conditions effectively.
  • Preferred experience within rapidly scaling SaaS companies undergoing transformation.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications pertaining to product strategy, analytics, finance, or technology are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary estimated between $151,000 to $196,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
  • Potential eligibility for additional variable compensation.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Life insurance and coverage for short- and long-term disability.
  • Retirement savings plan with company contributions.
  • Paid vacation days and company holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • Flexible remote working arrangements.
  • Chance to influence the adoption of innovative financial technology with substantial business impact.
  • A collaborative, customer-centered culture emphasizing learning and career advancement.
  • Travel requirements approximately 30% based on business needs.
