Job description

Role overview

The Senior Product Specialist supports the product management team for the German market, helping manage product data, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, pricing preparation, go-to-market coordination, launch readiness, documentation, and ongoing product content updates. The position calls for a solid grasp of products, strong analytical capability, careful attention to detail, and comfort handling technical, commercial, and market-focused information. The role works in close partnership with the Senior Product Manager Germany and helps advance Geely’s product portfolio in the German market.

Product data and documentation

  • Keep product specifications, feature lists, technical data, and comparison documents current.
  • Assist with drafting, checking, and updating product documents, price lists, dealer-facing materials, FAQs, and internal product briefings.
  • Monitor product changes coming from headquarters and reflect those updates in local documentation.
  • Collect and coordinate product inputs for Marketing, Sales, PR, Training, and the dealer network.

Competitive intelligence and market analysis

  • Track competitor vehicles, prices, specifications, equipment levels, incentives, and market activity.
  • Build competitor comparison charts and benchmarking summaries.
  • Support price-versus-value analysis and market positioning work.
  • Maintain organized market intelligence records using tools such as JATO, DAT, Schwacke, Power BI, or similar sources.

GTM and launch support

  • Help prepare go-to-market materials, launch checklists, dealer product information, and training content.
  • Follow up with internal teams and external partners including HQ, Sales, Marketing, PR, Homologation, and service providers.
  • Track open launch tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Assist with post-launch performance monitoring and corrective action planning.

Pricing, residual value, and sales support

  • Prepare data for pricing analysis, equipment benchmarking, and sales performance reviews.
  • Gather and organize residual value, leasing, fleet, and competitor data.
  • Create input files and summary materials to support management decisions.
  • Track sales results, dealer feedback, customer feedback, and product performance indicators.

Homologation and regulatory coordination

  • Support product documentation linked to homologation, WVTA/CoC, IVI/ZBII, KBA-related matters, and local compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate information requests between HQ, local product management, and external providers.
  • Maintain structured trackers for regulatory and market-readiness topics.
  • Help ensure documentation is delivered on time to avoid launch or registration delays.

Reporting line and collaboration

The role reports functionally to the Senior Product Manager Germany and works closely with HQ Product, R&D, and Homologation teams, the China Liaison Manager, Marketing and PR, Sales and the dealer network, Aftersales and Training, as well as external service providers and data suppliers.

Required profile

This position is intended as a specialist-level product management role. It focuses on operational product management, data analysis, documentation, benchmarking, and cross-functional coordination, while strategic ownership, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and product management governance remain with the Senior Product Manager Germany.

Additional information

The role requires a willingness to work fully onsite at the Raunheim office.

Interest in EVs, new energy vehicles, connected car features, and broader automotive market trends is preferred.
