Role Overview
As the Senior Product Manager for CarePath, you will spearhead the strategic planning, roadmap development, and execution of this rapidly evolving product. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, commercial units, and key partners, your goal will be to transition CarePath from its initial launch phase towards a robust, scalable platform. This platform aims to enrich customer experiences, enhance partner value, and create new revenue streams.

CarePath is an innovative infrastructure solution linking veterinary clinics, pet owners, and industry participants through seamless point-of-sale integrations, tailored discounts, and analytics-based engagement. It currently interfaces with over 26 Practice Management Information Systems, supporting thousands of veterinary practices to improve client interactions while enabling partners to make measurable impacts within the pet care sector. The product is in a growth phase, expanding its user base, refining its technology, and establishing supportive operational models.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the product vision, balancing immediate adoption objectives with long-term platform scalability.
- Work jointly with strategic partners to ensure product initiatives are aligned with broader business goals and maximize client value.
- Prioritize and define initiatives that improve adoption, user engagement, retention, and future monetization opportunities.
- Convert business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, workflows, and clear acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage sprint dependencies across Engineering, Data, Design, QA, and external stakeholders to guarantee punctual delivery.
- Facilitate the creation of data reporting and visibility solutions that provide actionable insights for users and partners.
- Advocate for intuitive user experience designs that seamlessly integrate with the fast-paced operations of veterinary professionals.
- Utilize customer feedback, market analysis, experimentation, and data to assess product performance and guide the roadmap.
Key Milestones Within Six Months
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of CarePath’s data structure, customer journeys, integration points, and campaign frameworks.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Engineering, Data, Design, QA, Commercial teams, and partners.
- Resolve critical program decisions such as communication timing, suppression protocols, dosage logic, and eligibility rules.
- Develop and sustain a thorough campaign requirement framework detailing data dependencies, business logic, complexity, and critical milestones.
- Ensure successful coordination and delivery of engineering and data elements essential for upcoming partner and medication journey rollouts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of product management experience in SaaS, healthcare tech, fintech, commerce, marketing technology, or similar data-centric software fields.
- Proven track record of launching and scaling products or significant features from concept through adoption.
- Expertise in customer discovery, requirement gathering, and translating insights into actionable product strategies.
- Strong grasp of APIs, integrations, and data models, capable of authoring detailed product specs and collaborating effectively with engineering throughout development.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities, leveraging data to make prioritization and strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external clients or partners.
- Ability to excel in dynamic, ambiguous environments where priorities shift rapidly.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with B2B2C software models.
- Background in payments, loyalty programs, customer engagement platforms, marketing automation, healthcare software, or transactional systems.
