Job description
Overview and Mission
Join JUNA Technologies as a Senior Product Manager where you will take comprehensive ownership of a pivotal product, an internal sales tool poised for significant growth and external launch. You will temporarily cover maternity leave with the opportunity to maintain ongoing responsibility, collaborating closely with the CTO within a nimble, responsive team setting, directly involved in product development and usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete product lifecycle including discovery, validation, prioritization, launch, and iterative improvements.
- Effectively balance and prioritize an ongoing influx of ideas and requests while maintaining a transparent and supported roadmap.
- Engage directly and frequently with engineering teams, bypassing intermediaries to facilitate swift progress.
- Create interactive, testable prototypes utilizing AI-assisted tools to quickly validate concepts.
- Collaborate intensely with executive leadership (CEO and CTO) involved in directing product strategy.
- Drive the evolution of the product from an internal solution to a fully customer-facing application.
Initial and Long-Term Expectations
- First 3–6 Months: Rapid onboarding to grasp product landscape, stakeholder needs, and current plans; establish strong internal relationships; produce AI-enabled prototypes for validation.
- After 12 Months: Serve as the definitive roadmap owner, manage multiple workstreams concurrently, and contribute substantially to product readiness for customers.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive product management experience, preferably including sole or lead responsibility without extensive design/research support.
- Proven skill in impact-driven prioritization addressing diverse stakeholder demands.
- Practical experience in developing prototypes with AI design tools.
- Capability in managing several products or projects simultaneously.
- Experienced in collaborating closely with senior executives, including C-level personnel.
- Comfortable working daily alongside engineers without requiring a deep technical background.
Ideal Qualities
- Proactive and practical, preferring to create necessary processes independently.
- Self-directed, capable of setting priorities and discerning when to escalate decisions.
- Clear and assertive communication skills, particularly in managing expectations and articulating prioritization decisions.
- Adept at operating in ambiguous and flat, expanding organizational structures.
Additional Advantages
- Experience in logistics or trucking with operational understanding.
- Background in transitioning products from internal use to customer-facing.
- Exposure to both B2B SaaS environments and operational/back-office tools.
- Aspirations for growth alongside team expansion.
Core Company Values in this Role
- Innovate beyond current norms by rapid prototyping.
- Focus on impact rather than mere activity, emphasizing meaningful priorities.
- Accountability through full ownership of product roadmaps without fallback options.
- Collaborative spirit emphasized through daily interaction with top leadership and engineers.
- Customer-centric approach whether for internal or external users.
Why Join JUNA?
- Full ownership from day one of a strategically vital product with direct leadership interaction.
- Clear growth trajectory toward expanded product leadership roles as the company scales.
- Visible, fast implementation impact within a compact team structure.
- Contributing actively to sustainability by supporting carbon reduction in logistics.
- Supportive work environment including a dog-friendly office in Kreuzberg, hybrid work model, company events, access to Urban Sports Club, personal development budget, and complimentary snacks and beverages.
