About Tremendous
Tremendous is a worldwide platform that helps businesses send large volumes of payouts to people anywhere at no cost. More than 20,000 organizations, including Atlassian, MIT, and United Way, use it to distribute gift cards and cash to recipients around the world.
Its customers include researchers, marketers, HR teams, nonprofits, and platform businesses, and they value how quickly and simply the product works. The company is highly rated on G2.
Tremendous is profitable and continues to grow without outside funding. It operates as a fully remote company with a strong documentation-first culture and very few meetings, allowing more time for meaningful work and personal life. Employee satisfaction is reported to be in the high 80s.
Role Overview
Tremendous is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the AI Enablement team. The team’s purpose is to help everyone at Tremendous work faster by making AI usable, dependable, and safe across the organization. It develops Rockie, the internal AI agent that can troubleshoot issues, run data analysis, and generate code, along with internal automations for functions such as finance and support, plus the platform foundations that keep company-wide AI use secure.
This is a hands-on internal product role rather than a standard PM position. You will own the end-to-end internal AI product surface: identifying the workflows worth automating, understanding how those workflows really operate, and shaping them into working prototypes that engineers can then turn into production systems. You will report to the co-founder and Head of Product and collaborate with a fast-moving engineering team.
What You Will Do
- Work across the business to uncover automation opportunities by partnering with finance, sales, support, and operations, then rank them based on impact.
- Create initial prototypes yourself using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and agent frameworks, since a functioning prototype is treated as the best requirements document.
- Translate prototypes into clear specifications that engineers can implement, and keep a steady stream of ready-to-build work in the pipeline.
- Define product quality standards for each automation, including evaluation methods, safeguards, unusual scenarios, and monitoring.
- Remove blockers, make scope decisions, and keep initiatives moving through development.
- Support rollout and adoption so the tools are actually used, then iterate based on feedback from the teams affected by the change.
- Shape the long-term direction and roadmap for Rockie and other internal agents as AI expands from a single team capability into a broader platform.
What You Bring
- Experience building and shipping production software, along with an understanding of the security concerns involved when AI systems can access real data and tools.
- Experience owning a product from start to finish, whether as a technical founder, founding engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or product manager; formal PM experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- Deep practical experience with AI systems, including shipping LLM-based products, using AI tools regularly, and understanding agents, evaluations, and model failure modes.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to work with teams like finance or sales, understand their workflows, and identify what can realistically be automated.
- A track record of taking products or tools from zero to one.
- Excellent written communication skills in a documentation-first environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this position is between $225,000 and $300,000, with equity included. The role also comes with comprehensive benefits, including 100% covered health coverage in the US, unlimited PTO, and 12 to 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
Work Location
This is a fully remote position open to candidates who can work from anywhere in the Americas.
Additional Information
The compensation range for this role is $225K to $300K.
This position is focused on building internal AI tooling, automation, and infrastructure that help the company operate faster and more safely.
