Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the full product lifecycle from conception to commercial launch within the pharmaceutical domain.
- Conduct detailed market research to ascertain customer demands, prescribing patterns, and business expansion opportunities.
- Contribute to the crafting and implementation of marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
- Evaluate competitive activities, monitor market trends, and collect customer feedback to recommend strategic enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to ensure smooth product development and rollout.
- Produce marketing collateral such as visual aids, brochures, presentations, digital campaigns, and sales training materials.
- Plan and manage events including product launches, Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, conferences, and promotional campaigns.
- Track product performance metrics via KPIs, sales data, and market share analyses.
- Collect and prioritize input from customers and sales teams to refine product positioning and improve customer experience.
- Ensure all promotional activities adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and internal company policies.
- Deliver product training and provide scientific support to the sales force.
- Compile monthly marketing reports, evaluate sales, forecast product demand, and conduct business reviews.
- Assist in budget formulation and ensure efficient use of marketing funds.
- Undertake frequent travel for field visits, customer engagement, conferences, and sales support.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Possess a B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or degree in Life Sciences. An MBA with a marketing focus is favorable.
- Have 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management or marketing; fresh MBA graduates with a pharmacy background will also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong skills in market analysis and research methodologies.
- Excellent abilities in communication and presentation.
- Sound understanding of pharmaceutical marketing concepts and compliances.
- Familiarity with relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective organization and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work well in diverse, cross-disciplinary teams.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making aptitude.
