Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) - Design Systems - US-Based SaaS Company - Remote

Role Overview

Join a prominent US-based SaaS company in the energy optimization sector as a Senior Product Designer focused on design systems. This role involves advancing the design system by crafting superior UI mockups, icons, illustrations, design tokens, and reusable components. You will strategically define the design system's roadmap, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure the UI components are scalable, responsive, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve high-quality UI assets including mockups, icons, illustrations, and reusable components.
• Define and manage the strategy, priorities, and roadmap for the design system in partnership with teams across the organization.
• Build and support scalable UI components and interaction patterns that are responsive and accessible.
• Work alongside frontend engineers to synchronize design components, tokens, and layouts with production codebases.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and technology teams to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
• Create detailed documentation, best practices, and guidelines to encourage adoption and consistency in design system usage.
• Establish governance protocols, contribution frameworks, and version control processes to maintain system integrity.
• Investigate and implement AI-driven tools and automation to enhance the transition from design to code.
• Ensure all UI components meet WCAG AA standards and promote inclusive, accessible design.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum 7 years experience in digital product design with a focus on enterprise-grade design systems, particularly within B2B or B2B2C contexts.
• Advanced skills in component design, responsive layout creation, interaction pattern development, and visual design execution.
• Demonstrated ability to produce polished, scalable, and production-quality UI components.
• Expertise in Figma, including mastery of design tokens, variables, auto-layout, and library management features.
• Strong familiarity with frontend frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, and Material UI (MUI).
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to craft and disseminate clear design guidelines.
• Proven experience leading collaborative efforts and conducting design workshops involving multiple disciplines.
• Comprehensive understanding of accessibility standards compliant with WCAG AA and application of inclusive design principles.

Additional Information

Location: Pune, India (Remote Work)

Educational Qualification: B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization.

Compensation Range: 2,750,000 to 4,250,000 INR annually.
