Your Role at Kittl

As a Senior Product Designer, you will take full ownership of the design and product results on one of Kittl's core user touchpoints. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Design, you will work side-by-side with product managers and engineering teams, utilizing user insights, strategic evaluation, and a robust perspective to inform product decisions. Your role will encompass translating strategic goals into actionable requirements, tracking project progress, coordinating with engineering teams, and driving features from conception through launch. Your contributions will significantly impact user activation, retention, and the overall quality of the AI-enhanced creative experience relied upon by millions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete product lifecycle from identifying problems and conducting research to launching, measuring, and iterating solutions.
• Design complex and sophisticated product features that demonstrate exceptional visual quality and strategic product insight.
• Maintain and elevate standards in both visual aesthetics and interaction design through peer reviews and collaborative feedback.
• Oversee engineering collaboration to guarantee quality during development and prepare for market readiness.
• Develop and contribute to reusable design components and systems, including AI-specific patterns within Kittl’s evolving design framework.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience designing digital products, with at least 2 years focused on consumer or prosumer products at scale.
• A compelling portfolio highlighting complete project ownership covering research, interaction and visual design, product thinking, and the demonstrated impact of deployed features.
• Proven ability, or strong readiness, to assume responsibilities typically associated with product management such as managing timelines and coordinating across stakeholders.
• Practical experience designing AI-augmented or generative features that embed AI meaningfully to enhance user value.
• Strong decision-making skills that balance user needs, product limitations, and strategic priorities to navigate trade-offs thoughtfully.
