Job description
Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a Senior Product Data Specialist focused on PIM, supporting a client’s data improvement and quality efforts across the EMEA region during a broader migration programme. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in the UK or Europe. The assignment is initially full-time and runs until June 2027.
The role is highly practical and centres on maintaining strong product data standards so new products can be launched on schedule across several regions. A key requirement is prior experience with syndication and ETL work in either InRiver or Salsify PIM environments.
What you’ll do
You will be the main person accountable for making sure product data from multiple sources is complete, accurate, and fit for purpose. The role includes QA work, cross-checking information across systems, and helping teams meet the required standards for product launches.
Key responsibilities
- Check that all mandatory product information in core systems is complete, correct, and current, and that QA steps are followed across ecommerce channels.
- Work with data owners to resolve inconsistencies and keep records aligned across systems.
- Spot data quality issues and partner with relevant teams to put practical fixes in place.
- Keep stakeholders informed, clarify data requests, and handle data-related issues while staying aligned with launch timelines.
- Prepare, maintain, and share detailed reporting on product data status and product launch progress.
Experience and skills
You should bring at least 5 years of experience in data management and data integrity, including syndication work in InRiver or Salsify. Background in ecommerce or retail is important, especially where products are managed across multiple countries and markets. Strong Excel ability and comfort with other data tools are needed, including dashboard creation. You should also understand the full product data lifecycle from creation through launch, and be able to work confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.
Additional information
Salary for this role is either up to £400 per day on a contract basis or £65k on a PAYE basis.
This opportunity is tied to a migration programme and supports product data quality improvements in the EMEA region.
