Position Overview
The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of procurement for pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products. You will ensure purchase orders are created and validated according to Julphar’s approved vendor list. The position requires negotiating purchasing terms, evaluating supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries, addressing supply discrepancies, and following through on vendor payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate purchase orders for pharmaceutical raw materials and finished goods in line with approved vendors.
- Negotiate purchasing agreements and evaluate vendor performance to meet predefined specifications.
- Oversee day-to-day purchase requisitions and deliveries to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Manage all procurement-related KPIs and contribute to continuous process improvement within procurement operations.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Relevant procurement or supply chain certifications are advantageous.
- Proficient with MS Office, SAP, and other related enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical capabilities using data analysis tools.
- Proficient negotiation and communication skills for a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Familiarity with procurement software, SAP Ariba knowledge is a plus.
