Senior Procurement Officer

Role Overview

This position is part of an Emiratization program and is open exclusively to UAE Nationals. The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and suits a procurement professional with strong experience in sourcing, tendering, and supplier negotiations.

Key Duties

• Take ownership of the full procurement cycle while staying aligned with approved internal policies and procedures.
• Check procurement submissions to confirm that all necessary approvals and backup documents are complete before processing.
• Coordinate RFQs, RFPs, and tender activities from issue through completion.
• Assess technical and commercial bids and compile clear recommendation notes for decision-making.
• Lead discussions with suppliers on pricing, contractual terms, and service arrangements to achieve the most favorable outcome.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
• The ideal applicant should bring at least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, contract administration, and supplier relationship management.
• Hands-on exposure to tendering, RFQs, RFPs, bid review, and contract negotiation is expected.
• Strong command of both English and Arabic is necessary for this role.
