Position Overview

This temporary role (18 months) is ideal for experienced procurement professionals passionate about shaping the future of mobility. The successful candidate will join a transformative procurement organization based in Berlin. You’ll have substantial ownership of your sourcing portfolio, lead sourcing strategies, conduct high-stake negotiations, and collaborate with local and global teams focused on Tech, Marketing, and Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor in procurement, building alignment and guiding internal decision-making while managing stakeholder relationships with authority.
• Lead the complete sourcing cycle for indirect procurement categories, from RFPs and RFQs through to final contract execution.
• Develop and deliver category strategies that reflect local spend portfolios of €50–100 million and support shifting business requirements.
• Oversee a varied procurement category portfolio, primarily involving Technology, Marketing, and Professional Services, adapting quickly as organizational needs evolve.
• Conduct detailed spend analyses independently, generating data-driven recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Leverage AI-based tools to optimize procurement processes, ensuring maintained control and insight into spend data and analytics.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on experience in indirect procurement, with strengths in strategic sourcing, category and supplier management.
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiations and closing complex deals.
• Advanced analytical abilities and proficiency in performing independent spend analyses and deriving actionable insights.
• Proactive, results-driven approach, able to efficiently drive multiple projects in dynamic or ambiguous situations.
• Experience fostering strong, trust-based partnerships with stakeholders through evidence-based dialogue and alignment.
• Keen interest in transformation strategies and artificial intelligence as tools for innovation and improvement.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory.
