About the Role and Company
Based in Tukang, Singapore, Rolls-Royce Power Systems is recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee direct material sourcing across the Asia Pacific region. This leadership position focuses on building a high-performing procurement team and directing the strategic purchasing of products and services integral to manufacturing and engineering operations. Candidates must possess legal eligibility to work in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for direct materials aligned with both regional business goals and global procurement standards.
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Establish contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and manage market volatility effectively.
- Support procurement operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to optimize expenditure and operational performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, finance, logistics, and projects teams to support sourcing and procurement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, regulatory standards, and Rolls-Royce Global Code of Conduct in procurement processes.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation and support audit readiness.
- Contribute to workplace safety and a professional environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum of nine years in strategic procurement or sourcing, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership managing procurement teams in regional or international settings.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, contract management, and procurement governance.
- Experience with manufacturing parts, technical materials, or engineered systems procurement.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional procurement certifications (e.g., MCIPS) and ability to interpret technical drawings are beneficial.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
