Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant specializing in Planning and Scheduling, you will be stationed in Riyadh, collaborating closely with both client and TBH teams. This role involves applying your deep expertise in scheduling and contract management to ensure successful execution of a major complex project. Prior experience with Middle East projects is essential due to client and project dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, integration, and ongoing management of project schedules, from interpreting construction drawings to project completion.
- Validate third-party schedules and actively engage stakeholders to mitigate project delays.
- Produce high-quality planning documentation that supports project certainty.
- Maintain close collaboration with internal and client-side teams to develop detailed construction schedules, track progress, and generate reports.
- Handle schedule integration, resequencing activities, and verify third-party inputs to align with project goals.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships through clear, professional communication to enhance collaboration and outcomes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a high-performing, cooperative team environment.
- Analyze data from multiple sources and customize reporting to inform leadership decision-making.
- Prepare detailed client-facing deliverables including analysis, technical reports, and presentations, ensuring readiness for client discussions.
- Utilize planning tools like Primavera P6 to prepare, maintain, and analyze complex schedules with tailored reporting.
- Apply industry best practices in planning and scheduling to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Implement project controls best practices to resolve planning challenges and optimize delivery.
- Support knowledge sharing via technical workshops and contribute to client training when required.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in planning and scheduling processes to boost project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all outputs are accurate, consistent, and of the highest quality, incorporating feedback and rigorous quality checks.
What You'll Bring
- Over 5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience.
- Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or an equivalent field.
- Solid grasp of planning, scheduling, and programming principles.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
- Experience managing client expectations with excellent communication skills.
- Capability to work independently while providing leadership and training to junior personnel.
- Well-developed understanding of project management methodologies and project controls principles.
- Preferably previous consultancy experience.
