Role Summary

The Senior People Operations Specialist will oversee and support HR operations throughout Foodics' portfolio across the KSA, UAE, UK, and the broader MENA region. The role focuses on executing payroll, benefits management, employee lifecycle activities, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from drafting compliant employment contracts and amendments to onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes including exit interviews and issuance of experience certificates.
• Accurately process payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, and adjustments to ensure timely and error-free payroll execution.
• Administer medical and health insurance benefits including policy renewals and handling employee claims as the primary point of contact.
• Maintain and audit HR information systems ensuring data integrity, system configuration, and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate with finance for accurate payroll accounting and distribution.
• Ensure full compliance with labor laws including social insurance registration, contributions, filings, and engagement with labor offices.
• Review and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and employment documentation to reflect legal changes.
• Prepare for and manage government audits, inspections, and surveys.
• Contribute to policy development and process improvements to increase operational efficiencies and accuracy.
• Support employee engagement by collaborating on local team-building activities and serving as a knowledgeable resource for HR inquiries, fostering transparency and trust.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 3-4+ years of practical experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles focusing on payroll, benefits, employee lifecycle, and compliance.
• Proven expertise managing social insurance programs and labor office procedures.
• Experienced in administering group medical insurance policies including enrollments, renewals, terminations, and claims support.
• Highly proficient with HRIS and payroll software as well as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Thorough knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations, and statutory benefits obligations.
• Exceptional organizational and detail orientation with strong confidentiality handling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
