Job description
Role overview
In this role, you will take ownership of a defined payroll group and ensure employee pay is processed accurately and on time. You will serve as a reliable point of contact for staff and managers on all payroll-related matters, while also contributing to projects that improve processes, support digital development, or adapt systems to new requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage a dedicated payroll scope and deliver precise, timely remuneration processing.
- Act as the go-to contact for employees and managers on all questions connected to payroll.
- Participate actively in projects related to process improvement, digital transformation, and system changes.
- Support annual closing activities, internal and external audits, required reporting, and coordination with adjacent specialist departments.
- Drive efficiency and quality enhancements, maintain smooth workflows, and develop practical solutions.
- Share your expertise openly and help strengthen the team through knowledge transfer.
Profile
We are looking for someone with a commercial background, preferably with a focus on HR administration, who brings solid hands-on payroll experience and remains effective even in demanding situations. Strong knowledge of labour law, tax law, and social insurance rules is essential, as is a structured, careful, and responsible working style. You should enjoy collaboration and joint problem-solving, and feel confident using SAP and MS Office tools.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, ideally with a specialization in human resources.
- Proven practical experience in payroll processing, including confidence in daily operations and resilience under pressure.
- Good command of employment law, tax law, and social insurance regulations.
- Structured, meticulous, and accountable approach to work.
- Enjoys working with others, exchanging ideas, and finding solutions together.
- Confident user of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
