Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) to join our globally leading protein snack manufacturer at our vibrant Amsterdam headquarters. This role is offered as full-time or part-time with the flexibility of one day remote work per week. The position involves performing comprehensive payroll processing and collaborating closely with HR, finance, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly payroll for a designated group of employees independently.
- Maintain and update personnel master data and payroll-relevant information.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, managers, and external entities such as authorities, health insurance, and insurers regarding payroll inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and social security regulations.
- Generate reports, analyses, and statistics for HR and management purposes.
- Support year-end processes including payroll tax certificates, social security notifications, and annual reports.
- Participate in projects aimed at advancing and digitizing payroll processes.
- Collaborate closely with HR administration, finance departments, and external service providers.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must possess EU citizenship and/or a valid work permit. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
- Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented with qualifications in payroll or human resources.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll, preferably in an industrial setting or shift system, ideally at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of tax, social security, and labor laws.
- Experience with standard payroll systems such as SAP HCM, DATEV, LOGA, UKG, or comparable platforms.
- Proficiency in MS Office, notably Excel.
- High attention to detail, responsibility, and confidentiality.
- Independent, reliable, and structured work approach.
- Strong service orientation and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Good command of English language skills.
