As the company continues to expand, it is hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist for its Bureau team to help deliver high-quality payroll services to a growing client portfolio. This role suits an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a busy environment, takes responsibility for outcomes, and works independently with a strong degree of autonomy.

The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, supporting process improvements, and upholding internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete payroll processing on weekly, fortnightly, and monthly schedules with a focus on precision and compliance.
- Handle all elements of payroll administration, including BIK, share awards, pension contributions, and voluntary or statutory deductions.
- Build a strong understanding of each client’s payroll setup and specific operational needs.
- Ensure all statutory duties are met, including tax, PRSI, and reporting requirements in line with Revenue Commissioners guidance.
- Carry out payroll reconciliations and verify that output matches the source data supplied.
- Complete quality checks and maintain compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, KPI targets, and internal control frameworks.
- Review, maintain, and improve payroll procedures, controls, and documentation to support excellent operations.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, including process optimisation, system enhancements, and onboarding of new clients.
- Serve as a dependable point of contact for clients by providing prompt, professional, and high-standard payroll support.
Experience and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- IPASS certification.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong organisational ability and close attention to detail.
- Comfort working under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on team goals.
Desirable Experience
- Previous exposure to Quantum payroll software.
Why Join Snow Technology
- Opportunity to take ownership and play a leading role in a growing business.
- A fast-paced environment where ideas and improvements are valued.
- Chance to join an expanding Irish technology company serving organisations nationwide.
- Scope to further develop leadership capabilities and payroll expertise.
Package and Benefits
A competitive salary will be offered based on experience. In addition, the company provides company-paid health insurance, a pension scheme with employer contributions, a company life assurance plan, paid parking at the office, and a hybrid working opportunity.
