Role Overview
The Senior Officer, Licensing position focuses on handling online licensing, permit, and NOC submissions with accuracy and efficiency within the Licensing Division. The role combines application review, document validation, troubleshooting system issues, maintaining records, and coordinating closely with both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include reviewing service applications, checking supporting documents, resolving inconsistencies, and keeping applicants informed throughout the process. It also involves customer support, stakeholder coordination, system assistance, and data maintenance.
- Review online submissions for ADM services, including marine craft, vessels, and related licensing requests.
- Confirm that all uploaded information and supporting documents are complete and accurate.
- Spot missing details or inconsistencies and take the necessary action to resolve them.
- Communicate clearly with customers about application progress, requirements, and next steps.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Listen to customer feedback and identify ways to improve the service experience.
- Work with internal teams to ensure customer issues are handled efficiently and on time.
- Meet customers in person or online when needed to collect information, clarify concerns, and strengthen trust.
- Coordinate with the Senior Manager of Licensing and Senior Licensing Specialists on complex cases and requests.
- Partner with IT support to fix technical issues affecting customer and employee portals, as well as other system-related needs.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of the licensing system and its features.
- Enter and update fine and violation details accurately in the designated portal.
- Prepare and maintain statistics and reports related to Licensing Division services.
Requirements
Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic computer literacy, fluency in both English and Arabic, and either be a fresh graduate or bring at least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative role. A willingness to learn the maritime or licensing domain is also expected.
