What you will do

You will drive the design, refinement, and improvement of molecular biology workflows spanning DNA synthesis, DNA sequencing, and laboratory automation. The role involves running experiments, resolving technical issues, interpreting sequencing outputs with Python, and coordinating with both internal colleagues and outside partners to build processes that can scale.

Candidate profile

The ideal background includes strong practical experience in molecular biology, familiarity with Nanopore and Sanger sequencing, and working knowledge of automated liquid-handling systems. Python ability for sequencing or scientific data analysis is also important, along with a self-directed, solution-focused approach that works well in a fast-moving setting. Experience in early-stage industry environments is preferred, and prior exposure to DNA synthesis would be an advantage.
