- Refine content to improve clarity, maintain consistent tone and brand voice, ensure scientific accuracy, and uphold style and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver both rapid “triage” edits within tight deadlines and detailed line edits for priority projects.

- Conduct light fact and terminology checks for accuracy, complementing subject matter expert reviews.
- Ensure all communications align with medical, regulatory, and legal guidelines specific to clients.

- Represent editorial interests in internal meetings including kickoffs, content evaluations, and status updates.
- Support content development efforts to promote editorial consistency, appropriate structure, and smooth content flow.
- Continuously review materials to verify grammar, clarity, brand alignment, client tone, and compliance with AMA and client style guides.
Required Experience and Skills

- Minimum five years of editing experience in healthcare, medical communications, or pharmaceuticals; experience in advertising or marketing is advantageous.
- Deep knowledge of AMA Manual of Style and AP style guidelines.
