Job description

Overview

We are searching for an energetic and commercially focused Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead the marketing strategy and brand development for Anya Hindmarch. This position reports to the Brand & Commercial Director and collaborates closely with the leadership team at our Battersea Head Office.

About Anya Hindmarch

Established in London in 1987 by Anya Hindmarch, our brand is internationally recognized for its craftsmanship, cleverness, and meticulous attention to detail. We design experiences as thoughtfully as our products, with our global website playing a key role in brand presentation and international trade across the UK, EMEA, US, and beyond. Committed to responsible creation, the brand constantly innovates to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability awareness through projects like "I Am A Plastic Bag," The Universal Bag collaboration with supermarkets, and the biodegradable Return to Nature bag collection. Our ethos emphasizes continuous progress over perfection.

In 2021, Anya Hindmarch launched The Village on Pont Street in Chelsea, London — a community of stores and a café centered around the Village Hall, which hosts collaborative exhibitions, events, and concepts that are digitally amplified. Notable initiatives include partnerships with Boots and Peanuts, alongside popular events such as the Christmas Grotto and Ice Cream Project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Brand Director and Anya Hindmarch to shape and execute brand and marketing strategies across six business units: Collection, Anya Travel, Bespoke, Anya LIFE, The Village Hall, and Anya Café.
  • Maintain consistency and distinctiveness in brand positioning and storytelling globally across all platforms and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—e-commerce, wholesale, visual merchandising, and creative—to align brand positioning and priorities.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to enhance brand reach, customer acquisition, and brand equity.
  • Lead and develop the Social & Content Manager, fostering innovation, creativity, and accountability.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget with clear accountability for return on investment across marketing channels.
  • Direct seasonal and product launch marketing strategies alongside creative and e-commerce teams, ensuring focused priorities and integrated marketing calendars.
  • Ensure outstanding execution across all product launches and marketing activations, targeting conversion and audience engagement.
  • Develop and implement impactful brand partnerships, collaborations, and events, particularly related to The Village and Village Hall concept stores.
  • Coordinate with retail and wholesale teams to deliver effective in-store and partner marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee event planning and experiential marketing, including managing collaborations, partner brands, communications, and key projects such as the Christmas Grotto and Ice Cream Project.
  • Lead marketing and experiential strategies for Anya Café.
  • Work closely with the Head of PR to synchronize communication efforts and optimize launch outcomes.
  • Collaborate with in-house teams in Japan and Hong Kong to adapt global marketing strategies locally while sustaining brand consistency.
  • Work with wholesale accounts to boost sell-through rates and manage new and existing account launches, as well as pop-up activations.

Desired Profile

  • Significant experience as a senior marketing manager within luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Deep insight into what creates cultural resonance for luxury brands, accompanied by a passion for craftsmanship and product excellence.
  • Proven success in delivering comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies that produce measurable commercial results.
  • Expertise across branding, digital marketing, event management, and partnership development.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience working closely alongside founders or creative directors.
  • Commercial acumen paired with data-driven decision-making and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Creative thinker with excellent aesthetic judgment.
  • Highly effective communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment typical of independent brands.
