Senior Manager, Trust Investigations

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Trust Investigations team, a group dedicated to identifying and countering sophisticated abuse and threats impacting our platform and users. The position is hybrid, based in Mountain View, CA, with work performed both onsite and remotely as required.

Responsibilities

This role requires strategic oversight of a technical investigations team embedded in cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams. You will manage teams tasked with incident response, threat detection, and root cause investigations related to scams, abuse automation, and other critical security concerns. Key duties include setting priorities, ensuring high quality and timely investigations, developing innovative AI-driven investigative practices, communicating insights to leadership, mentoring staff, and collaborating across multiple departments.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, criminal justice, or technical fields, coupled with over three years of experience managing security or threat intelligence teams and at least seven years in related investigative roles. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and extensive experience in content moderation, fraud enforcement, and a strong technical background for interpreting data and automating intelligence. Experience with SQL or Python scripting, managing global teams, and navigating complex cross-functional partnerships is also valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $155,000 to $257,000 annually, influenced by individual expertise and other factors. Additional benefits include performance bonuses, stock options, and comprehensive health and wellness programs.
