This expansive project relies heavily on effective, innovative strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure its ongoing success and sustainability.
We are seeking a highly seasoned Senior Manager to lead and advance our Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) function. This senior role demands visionary leadership to set strategic directions, oversee execution, and foster ongoing enhancement of the SRM framework, promoting resilience and value creation throughout the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the enterprise-wide SRM strategy aligned with both corporate objectives and Vision 2030 ambitions.
- Provide executive-level guidance on supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks.
- Champion cultural change to embed strategic SRM practices organization-wide.
- Design, implement, and refine SRM frameworks, policies, and tools reflecting best industry standards.
- Manage supplier segmentation, risk evaluations, performance tracking, and business continuity plans.
- Ensure SRM initiatives integrate seamlessly with procurement, risk management, legal, finance, and operations teams.
- Build and nurture executive relationships with strategic suppliers to promote innovation and mutual benefits.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive joint business plans and strategic supplier initiatives.
- Address complex supplier issues related to performance, risk, and compliance with balanced leadership.
- Organize and facilitate executive forums including Quarterly Business Reviews and SRM steering committees.
- Advocate for consistent SRM governance models and decision-making frameworks among senior leadership.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and data-driven decisions across the supplier ecosystem.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing SRM team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Encourage skill enhancement and succession planning within the team.
- Drive initiatives leveraging supplier partnerships to improve cost efficiency, service quality, and sustainability.
- Lead Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and digital transformation efforts aligned with company strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in strategic supplier relationship management, procurement, or supply chain roles within complex and multinational environments.
- Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred.
- Professional certifications like CPSM, CSCP, or CPM are strongly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and suppliers at executive levels.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
- Experience with giga projects or large-scale development projects is beneficial.
