Role Overview

As the Senior Manager of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing Petite Keep's digital flagship store, which is the primary platform for delivering the Petite Keep experience and converting customers. This role demands hands-on involvement and ownership, requiring expertise with Shopify to design a polished, high-converting luxury site and develop a scalable, customizable product catalog.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end operation of the Shopify storefront, including theme customization, app ecosystem, and platform setup, to ensure a premium and scalable customer experience.
• Design and maintain a complex product catalog incorporating numerous product variations, personalization, and customization, while optimizing for scalability, SEO, and paid media efficacy.
• Lead the ecommerce development roadmap by prioritizing site enhancements, personalization features, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tests that improve conversion metrics and average order value (AOV).
• Bring the Petite Keep brand's narrative to life on the website through compelling storytelling, visual content, and user engagement strategies to enhance emotional connection.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to launch new products, collections, and partnerships, ensuring front-end design aligns with the brand standards.
• Oversee relationships with developers, Shopify support, agencies, and app providers; assess and implement new technologies as the business scales.
• Track key ecommerce performance indicators such as conversion rates, AOV, cart abandonment, site speed, and funnel drop-off; provide reports and coordinate with growth leadership and cross-functional partners to align online experience with growth strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 7 to 10 years of experience in ecommerce management with extensive and practical expertise in Shopify, including product structuring, theme architecture, app integration, and best platform practices.
• Proven ability to manage both front-end user experience and back-end product catalog configurations, including handling complex product variants and personalization setups.
• Experience in scaling ecommerce systems efficiently within fast-paced environments and making rapid, informed decisions.
• Strong aesthetic sense for premium and luxury brand digital presentation, with demonstrated success in reflecting brand identity in website design and merchandising.
• Track record of measurable improvements in conversion rates, average order value, and overall website performance for direct-to-consumer brands.
• Comfortable working with analytic tools such as Shopify Analytics, TripleWhale, or similar platforms for data-driven decision making.
• Experience managing relationships with agencies, freelancers, and third-party app vendors.
• Leadership experience is desirable but not mandatory; this position suits a senior-level individual contributor as well.
