About the Role
Our client in the medical devices sector is advancing through an important expansion phase, presenting a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced mergers and acquisitions professional. The Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions, will collaborate closely with the CEO to champion inorganic growth and strategic investment initiatives, integral to the company's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full cycle of M&A transactions, from opportunity identification to deal closure, coordinating internal teams and external advisors.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, valuations, and prepare business cases along with board-level materials to underpin pivotal investment decisions.
- Perform in-depth market and industry research to identify and evaluate potential acquisition prospects.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide growth initiatives.
- Support planning efforts for post-merger integration to ensure seamless execution and maximize transaction value.
Candidate Profile
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a closely related field; MBA and/or CFA credentials are advantageous.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or private equity.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence, including the management of sophisticated deals involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment with excellent communication skills tailored for senior and board-level audiences.
- Proven ability to prepare detailed investment documents and presentations for executive decision-making.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments with robust project management skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
