Role Overview

This is a full-time Senior Manager role based in Bengaluru for domestic and export logistics with a strong focus on air freight. The position calls for a seasoned logistics professional with up to 10 years of experience who can manage end-to-end operations, documentation, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should bring hands-on background in logistics leadership, especially in air freight for both domestic movement and export shipments. The role requires strong control over documentation needed for customs and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to build reports that support operational and strategic decisions. Candidates should also be able to evaluate logistics processes, improve efficiency, manage complex supply requirements across multiple retail categories, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of domestic and export air freight operations and ensure shipments move efficiently and on schedule.
• Handle the full documentation cycle for air cargo activities while keeping all regulatory and compliance requirements in check.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with carriers and logistics service partners to strengthen execution.
• Work closely with internal teams so logistics plans stay aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Track logistics performance, prepare reports, and share practical insights and improvement ideas.
• Design and refine logistics approaches that support retail categories such as Consumer Electronics, Fashion & Lifestyle, and related businesses.
• Promote cost-conscious logistics methods without compromising reliability or service quality.
• Keep up with industry developments and best practices to continuously upgrade logistics operations.

Requirements

• Strong prior experience in logistics management with a clear focus on air freight.
• Practical exposure to both domestic logistics and export operations.
• Good knowledge of logistics documentation, customs-related paperwork, and compliance procedures.
• Ability to create and present reports for performance tracking and planning.
• Analytical mindset for identifying process gaps and improving cost efficiency.
• Capability to manage complex logistics needs across a broad retail product mix.
• Stakeholder management skills for smooth coordination across internal and external partners.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience requirement: up to 10 years in logistics.
