Role Overview
This position merges SEO expertise with AI search optimization, content strategy, authority building, and growth marketing. You will spearhead building a scalable organic acquisition system to amplify Crescendo's presence and influence across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, relevant online communities like Reddit, industry publications, analyst reports, and emerging discovery platforms. Reporting to the Head of Growth, this role demands innovative leadership in organic growth and AI-driven search discoverability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end SEO strategies including keyword research, topic cluster development, technical SEO, and competitive positioning targeting CX, AI, contact center, and automation sectors.
- Lead AI Search Optimization efforts to enhance Crescendo’s visibility on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and emerging platforms; establish presence on Reddit and niche forums that feed AI-generated content.
- Design and implement AI-powered content production systems leveraging tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, AirOps, and automation pipelines while coordinating with content teams to ensure voice consistency and effective distribution.
- Drive authority and reputation growth through backlink acquisition, encouraging customer reviews (G2, TrustPilot), and securing third-party validation across forums, communities, analyst relations, and thought leadership channels.
- Deliver measurable organic growth outcomes within 12 months, aiming for increased non-branded organic traffic, enhanced AI search share-of-voice, and robust content workflow that contributes to revenue growth.
Candidate Requirements
- 5 to 7 years experience in SEO, organic growth, content marketing, or demand generation specifically for B2B SaaS companies.
- Proven ability to build and scale organic growth programs, with a strong performance record.
- Expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and search engine optimization tactics.
- Analytical capability to link performance data directly to pipeline and revenue metrics.
- Experience managing cross-functional content workflows and team programs.
- Preferred skills include familiarity with AI-native content automation, AEO practices, community strategy, and tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, HubSpot, Webflow, GA4, and Google Search Console.
- Background in enterprise software, customer experience, or related fields is advantageous.
