Join Apleona GmbH as a Senior Manager in Finance Transformation based in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt, with flexibility for locations including Berlin, Munich, Cologne, or Düsseldorf. The Finance Transformation team strives to comprehensively enhance global finance operations, functioning like an in-house consultancy closely collaborating with the board and C-level executives across business units.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation initiatives addressing strategic and operational areas within the global program.
• Analyze end-to-end finance processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Perform, with focus on working capital optimization and cost efficiency.
• Manage multiple transformation projects concurrently with clear business case ownership.
• Guide internal finance teams in designing, piloting, and implementing improvements across multiple units and countries.
• Perform data-based analyses developing finance KPIs (e.g., DSO/DPO optimization, cost reduction, working capital management) to steer transformations.
• Organize and facilitate workshops involving finance leadership, operations, IT partners, executive management, and external shareholders.
• Create and deploy communication, training, and change management concepts for successful adoption of transformations in finance teams.
• Collaborate with technology partners including SAP S4/Hana and AI developers to digitalize and automate finance processes.
• Support the growth of finance teams in project management and transformation capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed higher education degree in economics, business administration with finance focus, business informatics, or related fields.
• At least three years of proven experience in finance strategy and transformation, operations management, or internal consulting involving large projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end finance processes across multiple domains (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, FP&A).
• Expertise in working capital and cash flow management including process impact comprehension.
• Experience managing multiple transformation measures simultaneously within a program.
• Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems, especially FI, CO, MM modules, with practical hands-on knowledge.
• Understanding and application of digitalization and AI technologies in structured problem solving.
• Proven project or program leadership experience with full responsibility for scope, scheduling, budgets, and quality checkpoints.
