Role overview
This position is responsible for directing the governance and day-to-day operational effectiveness of facilities services across Qiddiya Workers Villages. The scope covers both hard and soft facilities management, asset dependability, maintenance planning, compliance control, and management of service providers. The aim is to keep facilities safe, resilient, and cost-efficient while meeting contractual obligations, legal requirements, and internal governance standards.
Purpose of the role
The objective of the role is to deliver dependable, compliant, and efficient facilities operations through structured oversight, strong performance management, and ongoing improvement across the Workers Villages.
Key responsibilities
- Provide governance oversight for facilities maintenance, utilities, asset management, and supplier performance.
- Develop and implement SOPs, preventive maintenance requirements, and compliance controls for FM activities.
- Manage budget preparation, expenditure control, and operational performance reporting for facilities services.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, inspections, and readiness of certifications for equipment and buildings.
- Support asset reliability and lifecycle planning in partnership with Asset Management teams.
- Work with Security and HSE to maintain preparedness for facility-related emergencies and incidents.
- Represent facilities management in leadership discussions and stakeholder coordination forums.
Deliverables and accountabilities
- Facilities operations remain dependable, with reduced downtime and strong compliance outcomes.
- A clear FM governance structure, SOPs, and maintenance standards are established and applied.
- Preventive maintenance plans and schedules are delivered and tracked through completion reporting.
- Compliance files and statutory inspection records are kept complete and audit ready.
- Asset lifecycle planning and improvement actions are executed effectively.
Performance metrics
- Asset availability, uptime, and reduction in downtime trends.

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a similar field is required. Professional certifications aligned to the role are an advantage, including PMP, PRINCE2, NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, IFMA, CIPS, or comparable credentials.
Experience required
The role calls for at least 10 years of facilities management experience in large-scale residential, hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use settings. Candidates should also have a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing multi-site or large campus operations. Prior exposure to FM contractor oversight and compliance programs is required.
