Role overview
This position is for a senior civil and interior engineering leader responsible for driving end-to-end execution of fit-out, renovation, and maintenance works. The role involves planning, coordination, vendor control, quality assurance, budget tracking, and compliance oversight for infrastructure projects in a hospital environment.
Project planning and execution
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle of civil and interior fit-out assignments.
- Build realistic schedules, cost plans, and manpower/resource plans.
- Keep delivery aligned to timelines and approved budgets.
Design coordination
- Work closely with architects, consultants, and designers to close layouts and execution details.
- Examine drawings, BOQs, and technical documents before execution.
- Protect the design intent throughout the implementation stage.
Vendor, contractor, and subcontractor management
- Select, appoint, and manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track workmanship, output quality, and schedule adherence.
- Address execution issues and maintain accountability across partners.
Quality, cost, and compliance
- Ensure civil and interior works meet defined quality benchmarks.
- Visit sites regularly and enforce SOPs.
- Monitor spending, verify bills, BOQs, and variation orders, and control project costs.
- Ensure compliance with local building rules, safety requirements, the National Building Code of India, and other applicable statutory guidelines.
Maintenance and stakeholder coordination
- Oversee renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure upgradation activities.
- Plan improvements that enhance usability and appearance.
- Coordinate with operations, administration, and clinical teams in a hospital setting.
- Share regular status updates with senior leadership.
Eligibility and additional details
Applicants must have at least 8 years of experience. The role is open to Civil Engineering students/candidates meeting the experience requirement. Salary is INR 17,00,000 to 22,00,000 per year.
