Job description
Overview of Role
As a Senior Manager specializing in Compensation at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, you will shape compensation policies, develop competitive salary schemes, and conduct market benchmarking to attract and retain talent. Your responsibilities include the annual review and determination of salaries, promotions, and bonuses to ensure fair and compelling Compensation and Benefits packages. Additionally, you will participate in job evaluation efforts and provide insights for Strategic Workforce Planning and organizational structure assessment as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best practice compensation policies to support talent attraction and retention objectives.
- Design salary frameworks and conduct market benchmarking exercises to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Manage annual reviews related to salary adjustments, promotions, and bonus allocations in alignment with organizational goals.
- Engage in initiatives such as job evaluation and analysis of organizational design and strategic workforce planning.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess 5 to 10 years of practical experience in Compensation and Benefits within Human Resources, preferably with exposure to Singapore's Public Service environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to navigate complex issues and generate clear, actionable solutions.
- Display determination and perseverance in achieving results alongside innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to operational details.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Proficient with HR digital platforms, analytical software, and visualization tools, with a minimum expertise in Microsoft Excel.
